The Walloon Lake Association mission is - to preserve, protect and defend the quality, safety and natural beauty of Walloon Lake and its watershed; to work with and exchange data with other environmental organizations and local and state governmental units whose interests are consistent with our goals; to provide timely information pertaining to the preceding, including educational information to our members and the public.
To date, in 2008, there are 877 members of the Association.

Walloon Lake Trust and Conservancy

The Walloon Lake Trust and Conservancy’s mission is - to preserve, protect and defend the quality and the natural beauty of Walloon Lake and its watershed; and to assist the Walloon Lake Association and other environmental organizations, whose missions are consistent with that of the Trust, in their goals.

As of January, 2008, 1,792 acres in the Walloon Lake watershed are protected.
