Township Greenbelt Meetings

The Walloon Lake Association Environmental Impact Committee will be hosting neighborhood meetings this summer in all five Townships that border Walloon Lake.  Please plan to attend to discuss the importance of greenbelts and how your yard maintenance methods impact the quality of Walloon Lake.  A free bag of non-phosphorous fertilizer will be awarded to the first 10 participants at each location.

Meetings are scheduled as follows:

Bear Creek Township - Tuesday, August 12, 9 AM, Bear Creek Township Hall

Resort Township - Tuesday, August 26, 9 AM, Resort Township Hall

Melrose Township - Monday, August 18, 9 AM, Melrose Township Hall

Evangeline Township - To be determined

Bay Township - To be determined
