Land Preservation

This Committee identifies valuable lands to protect within the Walloon Lake watershed and seeks potential donations of land and conservation easement gifts.

Land Stewardship

This Committee helps the land trust carry out its duty of protecting Trust owned properties. Monitoring, maintenance of preserves and responding to problems are the Committee's main objectives.

Development Committee

The Development Committee directs the Annual Giving Campaign to the Walloon Lake Guardian Fund.  Monies raised are unrestricted funds and are used to protect critical land in the Walloon Lake watershed and for other expenses incurred in pursuing the Trust's mission.

Celebrate Walloon

While originally conceived as a fund raising project for the Trust, it also provides an opportunity for camaraderie and family oriented activities.
